You’re taking a risk buying a digital photo frame that doesn’t have a great record when it comes to durability and performance over time. Considering the price and weighing that against the features and functions the frame offers you don’t get great value for money. As such, you don’t have much control over the play order and frequency of photos. With no internal flash storage, you have to leave the USB/SD card inserted into the frame at all times to view your photos. The lack of Wi-Fi capabilities means that the only way to send photos to the frame is by USB/SD card. With little to no recourse available, it’s hard to justify buying this frame when so many others have active and helpful support and warranty options. Many complaints online indicate that the frame usually stops working after just a couple of months. It’s quite a big deal as these frames are known to struggle with durability and quality control. This means that there is no longer any support or warranty unless you buy the frame directly from the manufacturer – something that’s not easy to do. Unfortunately, these frames went out of production in 2010. The low-resolution display and awkward aspect ratio don’t help the overall value the Omnitech digital photo frame offers. Both frames are designed to target the low-mid budget range – which is demonstrated by the lack of essential features like Wi-Fi and multimedia support. The Omnitech digital photo frame comes in two sizes a larger 11-inch frame, and a smaller 8.5-inch model. Is the Omnitech digital photo frame any good?
